Student Crisis Resources

The college asks that all faculty, staff, and students report behavior that threatens the student’s own safety or the safety of others or raise concern about impairment or an inability to function in educational or clinical settings (e.g., drug and alcohol use and/or erratic behavior) via this form. The Student Care Network addresses counseling/crisis management.

After-hours and weekend crisis services available by phone using this number: 509-368-6500. Counseling services are available Monday-Friday from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. To make an appointment, call 509-358-7740.

Faculty, staff, and students are urged to call campus security at (509) 358-7995 for events involving acts or threats of violence, urgent safety concerns, possession of weapons on campus, imminent threats of suicide, and medical emergencies.

During your clinical campus week, if students, who are outside of the Spokane area, need to speak with a counselor, students will need to call the Crisis Hotline, which is available 24/7. You can reach the hotline by calling 509-368-6500. During the clinical campus week, even if it is during normal business hours (Tuesday – Friday from 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.) you should press option 2 to reach the crisis hotline. If you are located in Spokane for your clinical campus week you can schedule an appointment with one of the counselors or call the office to speak with them by calling 509-358-7740. Outside of normal business hours, all students should call 509-368-6500.
