Congratulations to WSU College of Medicine faculty members who recently received their faculty promotions. The promotions were announced during WSU Showcase.

Congratulations to WSU internal medicine residents Tony Huynh, DO, and Suk-Lin Zhou, DO, who have been selected as the 2024 American Osteopathic Association DO Day scholars.

The Administrative Professional Advisory Council recently recognized six Washington State University staff members with its 2024 AP Contribution Awards.

This year’s Distinguished Faculty Address will be given by Hans P.A. Van Dongen, a professor with the Department of Translational Medicine and Physiology. His topic, sleep and its impact on performance, safety and health in our 24/7 society — will focus on the groundbreaking research undertaken by WSU’s Sleep and Performance Research Lab.

The award recognizes the teaching, mentoring, and leadership activities of faculty in ACEND-accredited dietetics education programs.

Each spring, the WSU Spokane campus community recognizes incredible faculty, staff, and students who go above and beyond their normal duties, demonstrate outstanding leadership, and serve as outstanding ambassadors.

A clinical professor in the WSU College of Medicine is using recently awarded grant funding to improve Chinese language and cultural competency in clinical settings.

According to committee leadership, Harrison’s appointment reflects the esteem of her colleagues and their confidence in her leadership skills.
