We train family medicine physicians to:
- Provide comprehensive care for patients throughout their continuum of life;
- Lead multidisciplinary teams within a patient-centered care model;
- Serve patients from a variety of backgrounds in rural communities;
- Embrace lifelong learning with a continual growth mindset.

Training Sites
The program offers broad clinical experience in a range of clinical settings. Residents will have the opportunity to provide supervised patient care at our primary teaching hospital, Pullman Regional Hospital, and at various clinical training sites.
Visiting Student Rotation
The rotation provides an opportunity to learn more about the WSU Family Medicine Residency program, Pullman Regional Hospital, and the beautiful Pullman, Washington community. The rotation typically includes inpatient, emergency, and outpatient experiences as well as participation in residency didactics. Students will actively participate in patient care and train alongside current residents and faculty.
ACGME Accreditation
The Family Medicine Residency Program – Pullman is fully accredited by the ACGME in good standing with an accreditation and recognition status of Initial Accreditation.
