Selection Criteria

We are looking for highly motivated, compassionate, dedicated, and well-rounded individuals committed to caring for underserved and rural communities throughout the state of Washington.

We accept applications through the Electronic Residency Application Service (ERAS). Any information submitted outside of ERAS cannot be accepted. International graduates are encouraged to apply; however, if a visa is needed for work eligibility in the US, only a J-1 visa is allowable.

Timeline

September 1: Applicants can begin applying to IM Residency program
November 8 – January 7: Virtual applicant interviews

How to Apply

Interested candidates will need to create an account with the Electronic Residency Application Service (ERAS) program from the Association of American Medical Colleges (AAMC). Candidates can learn more about the program by visiting AAMC FREIDA.

For Preliminary applicants, our NRMP number is 2276140P0

Additional Requirements

In addition to the other documents required by ERAS (Med. School transcript, MSPE, etc.) the following documents are required to apply to our program:

  • Current USMLE/COMLEX Transcripts/Board Part 1*
  • Curriculum Vitae (CV)
  • Personal Statement
  • Three (3) Letters of Recommendation

*USMLE/COMLEX Step or Level 2 results are required prior to the NRMP rank order list submission deadline.
Only applicants with complete applications will be considered for an interview.
