Family Medicine Visiting Student Rotation

The four-week family medicine visiting student rotation provides students with advanced training experience including both inpatient and outpatient rotations. You will work side by side with our Family Medicine residents including case conferences and weekly didactics that are integrated into the WSU Family Medicine Residency Program – Pullman.

  • Expect to have three weekends free.
  • All students will present one didactics lecture to our residents, faculty, and other students.
  • Students will be responsible for arranging their own housing and transportation. Pullman has a public bus service, but it is limited. Personal transportation is advised.
  • Students must complete all onboarding materials required by Pullman Regional Hospital during the timeframe required, prior to Sub-I experience. These materials will be sent to students selected for a Sub-I rotation in advance.
  • Dates may be able to be flexible. Please choose the dates that most closely represent the dates you would need through your school. Two-week rotations may also be considered on a case-by-case basis.

Pullman Regional Hospital serves as the sponsoring location and will coordinate onboarding requirements, which may include an agreement between the hospital and medical school. If selected for a rotation you may be asked to provide the name and contact information for someone at your school to coordinate the agreement.
