Providence Sacred Heart Children’s Hospital

Providence Sacred Heart Children’s Hospital is the region’s only pediatric hospital with its own pediatric emergency department. The 160-bed facility opened in 2003 and offers the region’s highest level of neonatal and pediatric intensive care, psychiatry, comprehensive hematology and oncology programs, as well as specialized trauma care for children with emergency medical needs. The team includes more than 120 specialists – representing 28 pediatric subspecialties – to treat both medical and surgical needs. In 2022, Providence Sacred Heart Medical Center & Sacred Heart Children’s Hospital was recognized by U.S News and World Report as a Best Regional Hospital. In addition to their acute services, Providence Sacred Heart Children’s Hospital boasts a full continuum of pediatric primary and specialty care through Providence Medical Group, comprised of over 90 primary and specialty care clinics throughout Eastern Washington.
