Selection Criteria
Timeline
Early September: Residency applications open
November–January: Virtual applicant interviews
Interview Days: Monday mornings, Wednesday afternoons, and Friday mornings. Specific dates to be released through the ERAS system.
Interview Process
- Submit ERAS application.
- Applications undergo a holistic review as part of the selection program.
- If offered an interview, we will be scheduling through the Thalamus system which will notify you with availability to schedule what works best with your schedule.
- As of 2024-2025 interview season, all interviews will be virtual (subject to change)
- In addition to Faculty Interview Sessions, each applicant is able to sign up for a Resident Meet-and-Greet which generally occurs over the lunch hour. The purpose of these sessions is for applicants to get to know the current residents, ask questions about the program with only resident input, and see the culture of our program as residents interact while eating their lunch. These sessions are completely optional but highly recommended for low-pressure, fun mealtime chats.
